Combining the creative arts and self expression classes with a focus on assisting participants to find out what and how they can give back to others and nurture Nature.

Eco. Creativity guiding principles

  • Focus on imagination, meditation and self expression through the creative arts.
  • Encouraging connection to an authentic sense of self, inner wisdom, intuition and inspiration.
  • Facilitate mind-body-emotion-spiritual-relational integrity (embodied spirituality) within the field of everyday life.
  • Relationships are considered primary for the spiritual/life student: theoretical focus on the inter-connections between people within a context and how this can limit or enhance particular relationships. Everything is interconnected on the planet.
  • "The other" referring to all perceived things: including people, family, friends, children, the environment: land, sky, sea, social and global occurrences: lifestyle interactions and activities.
  • An orientation to co-create harmonious relationships through seeking mutual understanding, acknowledging the limitations of socialisation practices and attempting to understand difference by unwrapping the present.
  • To connect with others/environment with empathy and compassion and contribute in specific ways to the local social and environment needs: compassionate ecology.
  • To encourage parents to be responsible and kind toward their children.
  • Actively be informed and contribute to what is immediate, backyard, family, friendship and wider community.
  • Acknowledge the mysteries and syncronicity involved within relationships.
  • An embodied spirituality that includes and validates the qualities of compassion, empathy, with an emphasis and shared creative processes and products that contribute to lives and compliment the functions of reason intellect and knowledge.
  • Small group meetings co-ordinated by a trained ?eco-creativity facilitator? who is committed to providing the following conditions for all participants.
  • Eco-creativity facilitators are trained to co-ordinate weekly classes that will include creative art play, guided meditation and empathic communication circles to promote ecological activities.
  • Provide a safe, accepting environment for emotional expression and the sharing of life stories.
  • Nourish all of the senses through meditation, intuition, dance and movement, aromatic, auditory, and visual delights.
  • To encourage people to experience being in Nature in a meditative and contemplative manner as well as tending and caring for Nature in practical ways. (Shared gardens, planting trees, community environment projects, communal youth paintings, aged care services).
  • To teach the art of meditative practices that can improve emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
  • Spending meditative and contemplative time in Nature - being inspired to give back to Nature.
  • Re-create spiritual experiences through creative art connections, intimate relationships, beautiful rituals to celebrate life events.
  • To have fun, be inspired and enjoy a good belly laugh.

These studies are not about finding yourself, rather, understanding your relationship to others and to your environment. Meeting on a regular basis with a group of people guided by an eco creativity facilitator to support each other and develop compassionate ecology activities.

Testimonials

"This has been one of the most rewarding, uplifting and inspiring courses I have ever done!! It is so well put together and so interesting it leads to personal growth and deep insights to the self. Very enlightening and opened up a new world. The creative expression aspect of the course helps me to express and experience my journey less as an adult restricted by mind and more as a child buoyed and inspired by imagination. Simonette's bright and happy disposition coupled with the way she freely expresses her joy and creativity, especially in movement is incredibly inspiring."
